OrchidMania 2010
The Cleveland Botanical Garden is currently featuring a month-long orchid display, OrchidMania. Being a member of CBG, I was able to join their newly-formed Photography Club. One of the benefits of being a Photography Club member is the ability to bring camera gear and tripods to photograph inside displays (including the Glasshouse) two hours before opening time on the first Saturday and Sunday of each month, as well as two hours after hours on the first Tuesday of the month.
The OrchidMania display is awesome. I saw some of the most beautiful and most unique orchids I have ever seen. If you love photography, orchids, or just flowers in general, I would strongly suggest paying a visit to the Cleveland Botanical Garden. OrchidMania runs through March 28, but no matter when you visit, there is something beautiful and interesting to see; however, please keep in mind that the Botanical Garden is closed on Mondays.
