About

Let me tell you a little about myself.

For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in cameras and photography. I took my first class in beginning photography at the Cleveland Photographic Society in 2001, using a basic film SLR camera. Since that time I have gone totally digital, with my current camera being the Canon 5D Mark II. I have taken many courses and workshops throughout the United States (led by Bryan Peterson, Tony Sweet, Alain Briot, Nancy Rotenberg, Chris Hurtt, Brenda Tharp, Ian Adams, and Jim Roetzel to name a few).

My favorite subjects are my eight grandchildren, but I also enjoy photographing the beauty of nature, flowers, and landscapes (especially in my home state of Ohio and in Oregon, where one of my three daughters and two grandchildren reside).

Currently I sell stock photography through stock agencies (Alamy and Acclaim Images) and do freelance assignments such as taking candid photos at family reunions, anniversary parties, graduation parties and small weddings. I also photograph babies, children, families and pets on location. I also do small product photography in my home studio.
